My trippy Vegas trip!..this boy is going back to little old England to try regain his voice!!!! Ha! My harmonica reeds are shot to pieces too! Got a good tan tho! ;-)

I took my trip to Vegas town what a little whirlwind running round but I'll be leaving soon. Played my guitar at the open mic broke two strings but it went alright but I'll be leaving soon. Met a sweet little japanese girl we went dancing had a twirl but I wont forget my one true pearl 5000 miles away. When I'm 5000 miles away..
I've had my fun, done my folly fell in love with a girl named Dolly but I'll be leaving soon. I went to New York, Paris too! In Venice I cried about you. but I'll be leaving soon. I met Red when I was feeling Blue..she had a better body and bigger boobs too! Will I ever fall in love with you 5000 miles away? 5000 miles away!!
I got a sore throat.. boy that hurt! (ouch) I even went and sung a song in church! But I'll be leaving soon. I met up with my nephew and wife. She's got a bun in the oven ain't that nice :-) but I'll be leaving soon. PoetryofDarkness is my friend I think I drove him round the bend.... gotta let my heart mend 5000 miles away... oh 5000 miles away.
Fell into Sin they thought I was funny all the girls kissed me and took my money so I'll be leaving soon. I had far too many whisky shots! ;-) woke up in the parking lot and I'll be leaving soon.. with my brother and wife we reminiced about the good old days when we all got pissed (drunk)and now I'm never gonna get one sweet kiss 5000 miles away.. from 5000 miles away. :-(
Here day is night and night is day these slot machines they never pay... so i'll be leaving soon. I may have lost most of my loot but the ladies all say my accents's cute!! but I'll be leaving soon. I never got down to Tennessee I never sung sweet harmonies... will she still be missing me 5000 miles away? From 5000 miles away? :-(
I've had a great time with Matt my son - next year I'll bring the other ones and I'll be leaving soon! I got a little belly now nice and round, I ate too much put on 10 pounds but I'll be leaving soon! Four short weeks a lifetime ago I'm going back to the rain and snow and the tears are gonna flow 5000 miles away... 5000 miles away... :-(

well, the tune was def more uplifting and cheerful sounding... but the words, well, they did make me smile (and chuckle) but it still a sad story, I hope it has a happy ending, and that you will at least have some decent memories, LOL!!! you've definitily lived to the fullest and taken advantage of all Vegas has to offer it looks like!! What and ADVENTURE!!!! at least you won't forget it! LOL!
