Ruger GP100 stainless with 4 inch barrel filmed at 600 frames per second. We really should have check the barrel after that one round didn't go off. To the owner of this gun: Did that 2nd bullet fire or not? I have your box of .357 reloads too. Send me a message and let me know when your going to be at the gun club next.

  • That third shot definitely had more flash in front of AND behind the cylinder. I would assume that it squibbed on the second shot and got pushed out with the third, over pressuring while doing so. If it wasn't a GP100, it would likely have gone Mk2 on the shooter.

  • @DasBulk I was kind of thinking the same thing...I was wondering of anyone else would notice that...funny the very 1st comment was about that...

  • You've got to love a squib........

Luckily a Ruger can handle the pressure..... Good thing those weren't full house loads, your video might have shown an entirely different series of events if they were!

  • You SHOULD have checked the bore after that?

    Meaning you did not?

  • Nice Slow Mo!
