@SanAndreasVagos: I agree in some cases it does look like that, but there are many sections to the New Zealand Police, and a Booze bus isnt equiped to deal with violent situations.

Hey Scotsfire, I think they went from a "POLICE" livery to more of a logo (0:26sec) in the very late 1980's. and then 1991 the Ministry of Transport (MOT) merged with the Police... As Police had blue lights & MOT had Red... mergeing to Red & Blue.

Are you refering to the first car (Its a 70's Holden HQ or Belmont I think from memory. Owned by the NZ police Museim.
