Good audio recording from Elton John's solo piano tour, Syracuse, New York 2000 April 18. I'm uploading the entire concert. This is track #13 - Sorry Seems to Be the Hardest Word.

The song comes from Elton's 1976 album "Blue Moves". It was also a top ten single. Quite unusual from the normal procedure, Elton wrote the music to this song first, along with much of the lyrics. Bernie Taupin merely finished it off.

In 2002 the song became a #1 single all over Europe, as a duet of Elton with the young pop group Blue. It has also been covered by many other artists, including Frank Sinatra, who performed it at a concert at the Royal Albert Hall in London that Elton and Taupin attended. Elton has stated that it was one of the most memorable moments of his life.
