A cover of The Who's "Long Live Rock" by Tommy Conwell with backing band, The Dipsomaniacs.

From the CD "Who's Not Forgotten, FDR's Tribute to The Who" - a collection of twenty-one songs recorded by a "who's who" of the best power-pop/indie-rock bands from the New Jersey/Philadelphia area.

Thanks to all for the images and keepin' the music alive -- and keep rockin, Tommy!

  • Great post! Love Tommy Conwell! Can't wait to see the Rumblers again in 2 weeks! By the way the picture at 3:54 is mine. I took it at the Chestnut Cabaret back in the day and had it blown up and autographed. Rock on dirty dogs! Cheers!

  • I love this song, I love this version of the song, and I love the montage of Tommy Conwell then and now. Man, he played a big guitar (and had hair :-))! P.S. Dipsos rule!
