James when he wants to sounds eerily similar to the late Carter Stanley and The Late Roy Lee Centers..I have a CD with James singing with Ralph and George Shuffler and it was recorded about 1987,,,It was like rolling the clock back about 25 years..Sounded just like The Stanley Brothers with George in their heyday...
