Console 300$
Good tv with high resolution 400+$
Console games (Always 10$ or more expensiver)
Total cost console SetUp : Around 800-900$ (Depends on your TV)
a PC that can run everything (Not expensive one) 850$ with a i5 and gtx 570 or so. (Not talking about a PC of 1400$++)
PC= everything internet/gaming/music/chatting
/ for homework etc etc in the end you pay more for a console anyways :) because each 2-3 years there is a new version

@staticxmako My Build cost only $536 but it still kicks any consoles ass and it will in the future because i can just replace a couple of parts to keep up with games in a few years while consoles cant be upgraded a new one has to be bought so in the long run a desktop is 10x better at least

@staticxmako I am pretty sure its not lack of power if it was why would the cell proccessors from ps3's be used to create some of the most powerfull supercomputers ever built. Scientists have linked basic ps3's together to create super computers to study blackholes. When the ps3 was originally built it was 20 times more powerful than an average pc. The limit is so that the game will run smoothly with online play.

Pc is better BUT pcs are very hard to keep up with the system requirements and are very costly. A good pc costs well over $1300.00 that is why I bought a console. Stupid system requirements.

@igenther99 heres the thing this is fact. dumb fucks like you dont realise this........you buy a 200-$300 console lets say $300 for my sake. and then becuase you want a fast pc or POS mac you spend around at least $500 whats 500 plus 300? $800 towards a nice gaming pc NO 800 will run EVERYTHING FOR AT LEAST 3 YEARS ok and after 3 years lower some settings untill you get money GAMES ARENT ABOUT GRAPHICS kid.

Don't believe the BS, if you want to play at console resolutions (1280x720) you can make a cheap gaming rig and it will still spank the consoles for performance.
Check out the /g/ - technology board on 4chan for the recommended budget builds.

@bombkangaroo thank you man sooo much. and if people would realize that they are spending USUALLY $500 for a desktop anyways and then $200-300 on a console that adds to $800!!!!! WICH IS PLENNNTY for a AMAZING build
