The Steel Leather is the first dedicated expander designed for bass guitar. It lets you cut through any live performance with presentation definition. An expander is the reverse of a compressor, and the enhanced attack, will ensure that your bass does not get lost in performance.

  • @cyaxeres ive heard of people using the pedal to help mimic that pick playing tone.

  • @danimagicmushrooms Of course you can, what matters iis if it would sound right

  • @danimagicmushrooms You should be able to use any pedal with guitar or bass, it just might not sound as good... but thats a matter of taste. I use the BassBalls on my electric guitar, and I don't even play bass, just because it sounds awesome to me. Others find it annoying though.

  • is that useful just with slapping methode or with finger/pick playing as well?

  • Is it just me, or does the bass sound like it's played through a 15w combo when the pedal is on? :-/

Great reviewing video by the way! -short, simple & informative.

  • shave ur soul patch

  • I was thinking of using this on drums, (I have an audio interface it's possible) do you guys think it would make it sound punchy?

  • i like that bass run better when the effect is off.....lol great playing though

  • This makes me want to play bass.

  • did anyone notice the pedal move abit????
