Darryl should ask himself the same musical question, after speaking on public radio in defense of the Trees Foundation, who stole a $185,000 donation from NCEF! in 2005 and then lied their way through a civil suit, brought by the donor, in 2007. After receiving his money from the FBI, in the Judi Bari trial, Darryl retired from NCEF! and became one of its harshest critics. In the end, the tree-sits kept many old growth trees standing until new management could take over, in 2008, promising to save all old growth trees on their land holdings, including trees occupied by tree-sitters. "Which side are you on?"
