  • Do the washing machines without electronic displays use power if not in use?

    Simple lamp not on?

    thanks for a great video.

  • @gorgeousdzastr No they do not.

    Jeff

  • Finally someone who gives a darn and offers excellent free info. I have just purchased a new home and I intend to implement ALL of these ideas (except for the light bulbs and washing machine as already do these). Excellent videos and well worth the time taken to watch. I will pass these onto all my family and friends.

  • @alancbishop Well thanks, that was nice of you to say. I will have some more out soon as i can.

    Jeff

  • Awesome videos, thanks so much for sharing with us, I plan on telling everyone I know about these and the info in them. Boy does it feel good to have some ammo to stick it to the power companies! LOL

  • @Deb1inFla Your welcome Deb1inFLA.

  • 75 litres of hot water in the USA to wash a few clothes, what a shame. You guys have to change!

  • My pc printer and monitor are connected to some power strip like that for years.

It saves me at least 70 watts an hour when everything is witched off

Damn modern engeneers put no power switch before the alimentaion of the computer, printer scanner and monitor, so they keep on standby for ever. Unless you cutt of power from the root (socket)

My switchable power strip is fixed with drilling screws against the wall behind my buro

  • By unplugging the tv and dvd player etc with displays, then each time it's turned back on the time displays will flash and have the times wrong, thats real annoying, I know you can save on your bill if it's worth the hassle i guess .

Also I can't find any furniture stores that even have the large bubble wrap and those that do won't give it away free.

  • Thank you for these videos! Now I need to get some bubble wrap, power strips, unplug the washer and dryer and check out my ceiling fans,I had no idea! but I'm new to all this.
