Ingredients:

* 4 pounds of short beef ribs (You can use chicken or pork)
* 1 cup of soy sauce
* 2-3 stalks of green onion
* Small round onion
* 1 tablespoon of minced garlic
* 1 teaspoon of minced ginger
* 1 can of 12 oz. Cola (Any brand will do)
* 1-2 tablespoon of sesame oil
* 1 tablespoon of toasted sesame seeds
* 1 teaspoon of ground black pepper
* 1/4 to 1/2 cup of sugar (brown or white)
(If you don't like sugar, you can use splenda)
* 1 tablespoon of Sweet Rice cooking seasoning (Optional)

  • @OmmasKitchen just a question... how long so i leave the kalbi on each side when in the frying pan?

    also, does this recipe make it come out very sweet?

    Hi, are you planning on making kalbi?

    It's 5 to 10 minutes on each side and it's sweet but not too sweet like the ones at the restaurant. You can always add more sugar after cooking one rib and taste it first. Make sure to put cola because that's what makes it tender like beer does to ribs.
