OMG, NACA. (shudder). I did this gig. I didn't play nationals, just a west coast regional showcase, and then the subsequent bookings. Decent money, but every show was a crap shoot. Is the school going to promote it so there are people there? Is it going to be the (gulp) lunch room gig? I toured for about 8 years, and every time I'd go back out, I felt like I was in college again, but my "friends" were getting younger and younger. ;-)
