It didn't help that they played All My Children's theme song in the background...felt so bad for Susan Lucci. It's no wonder she got confused if she happened to mishear!

Oh yah, right...like they were actually gonna give Lucci a second Emmy? Is she for real? She isn't worthy of being in the same room as Flannery, Hughes, Byrne, or Zenk-Pinter (that year), never mind the same award category. She is the most overrated person in the entertainment industry EVER!

I felt so bad for Susan Lucci ... the people in charge of the music should have known better than to play the tune from GH ... what an awful play on her emotions like that.
@jamesobadiah1992 - Susan Lucci shoudl have sued? For what? the fact that she didn't get an emmy? Like Shasha2 said ... her 1 emmy is more symbolic ..

I felt so bad for Susan Lucci...she was going out there like "OMG...I finally won" What stunk is that she heard right the first time...and then they were like "no it's you." I'd be so embarassed.
