Live 1972 concert audio of "Any Way You Want Me", a song from Bread's 1969 debut album entitled BREAD. Written by James Griffin and Robb Royer. Lead vocals by James Griffin.

This is an audience recording (not a soundboard), so the quality is inferior. Live recordings of this group are extremely rare, so appreciate this for what it is.

  • I love all the picures.I'm confused though about the 2nd picture, I cant tell for sure which one is James and which is David. Can anyone tell me? Also, I really like the picture at about 2:35, Griffin looks amazingly hot. Its funny that I never noticed till just recently, must've been blind.

  • Azahora22, in the second picture, James is second from the right, and David is on the far left. Thanks for your comments!

  • Awesome video. Thanks for posting. Now I know another side of Bread. Very different. Griffin is sexier than heck. Ouch! What a voice. God damn. If this song came out today, he'd be one heck of a sex idol in rock and roll.

  • Yes. :)

  • Hardcore Bread fan. Thanks for posting. If Griffin was young now, and had that same voice, style, and talent, he'd be one heck of a success on his own. After listening to this video I'm astounded at the band's other sound. Simply beautiful -- -- not to mention sexier than hell.

  • Thank you so much for the comments. I believe you are absolutely correct. Griffin was Bread's hidden gem.

  • Very much a favorite Bread song for me. Love the funky chord structure and vocals build to a climax at the end. I guess, in some respects, this song is very sexy...
