The trans am is an awesome car. You're only going to fish tail if you don't know how to drive something with power. Was it the best handling car around? Hell no. But it wasn't built for handling at high speeds. It was built for staight line power. You don't see people driving around the streets like it's the fast and the furious, you see them drag racing from stop lights or doing. rolling drags. I will admit the ram air hood on the WS6 limits visibility tho.

They really were badly built, and pretty stupid. What's the point of going fast if you can't take sharp corners without fishtailing? When moving fast in a car, one of the most important things to have is Good Visibility. In this car, you can barely see out of the messed up rear window. Peripheral vision sucks. And, to top it off, they set up the seats so that you're almost lying down, and the dashboard so tall you can hardly see over the top? Just stupid, inefficient and unsafe. Stupid car.

I would love to take all the best qualities from all year firebird TA,s and make a killer car. I've owned a custom 74 TA for 18 years now but love most all styles.
