Chloe is the one who got into the Daily Planet by stabbing her best friend in the back, remember? Chloe USED Clark her supposed best friend to get into the DP. If you support that, then you don't really care about Clark Kent.

Lois wrote a good article about a case che investigated HERSELF. She's got a job and is becoming a reporter whom real Lois fans recognize and love.Chloe didn't care about it,it was about time for her move on since she was gonna stuck in that basement anyway, she knew it,hence her "glad to be out of that black hole"quote.Opportunity to work at DP doesn't happen every day that's why Lois was so enthusiastically offering this internship to Clark,not because she was happy about Chloe being fired.
