I first heard this during a 1980 broadcast of the San Remo Song Contest, which was broadcast on Channel 68 in Boston.

This ident (the image, not the music) seems very old-fashioned for 1993. Still, I like it though. It would be cool today in a kind of retro way.

The EBU /Eurovision sig is the prelude to a setting of the'Te Deum', by the French Baroque composer Marc-Antoine Charpentier (c.1635-1704).
