  • Dentist fees are very expensive and inflated. Just compare Dentists fees with that of MDs for comparison since Dentists say they have to charge these fees because they had to study 8 years. And yet, Dentists demand the same respect. That is stupid.

  • I'm becoming a dentist for both helping peoples smile and for the money.

So, if you think you're willing to enter the professional out of enjoyment, then I believe you'll be satisfied. However, with intentions of having an exclusive income (75th+ %ile), the likelihood is quickly diminishing by the decade. Even with the stress and pressure of 8 years of school, the government is quick to justify and assume that you don't deserve every cent you make. This is clearly evident in the United States, where government is removing subsidized loan options.

I'm sure the working conditions for a professional health care in Denmark would be very enjoybable, similar to that of the United States. However, without strong, capitalistic ideology in Europe, it's more difficult to be successful there. The progressive/secular focus is that Doctors earn too much, and should pay much more back into the system. However, after taking out a few hundred thousand for 8 years of school, your net income isn't much more than any other career.
