thanx ..... so i cant directly do a masters in architecture... i have to again opt for bachelors ..... ???? N about testures... i dint get that one ???? how can i export from google to 3d max ... ???

@rumpasarkar606 AT is equivlnet to part 1 architecture, you must do 3 more years to complete part 2 and part 3 of riba. then you can proceed to masters. personallly i think its pointless and employers will think you are over qualified. you never apply textures in google, textures are applied only in 3d max then u can proceed to renders.

i meant that my lecturers were not that gr8 at all. dey never taut us any softwares .. not even the basic... i know google sketch up very well as well autocad n now i can make 3d structures in 3d max but all wat i learnt is myself from youtube... N also one more question i had.. if i want to do masters in architecture.. will it be possible to do.plz do rep.coz now ur like an angel for me .. who can really solve my questions.. I hardly have any frens who did dis course.

@rumpasarkar606 Hi, yea its possible to do full architecture course for another 2-3 years to become a fully certified architect with RIBA. I also live in dubai / working and i didnt need to do full course as i got a job. If you can get a decent job with AT degree then go for it and i wouldnt recommend wasting time and money on full architecture course. I know wat u mean about friends, i also find it hard to make any.

Hey ur work is amazing ..even i did arch tech from univerisyt of bolton in dubai .. but i have a disadvantage that i had lectures which were not that great. so i never learned alot from them... now u meant that from google pro i can import it in 3d max.. is that wat u mean.. please do help me ..... n about textures.. m i sorry but i dint get it..... but i need to learn .. n how i dont know .. may be if u can help .. den it wud be gr88

@rumpasarkar606 hi u need to create the model in sketchup, then export to 3d max and add textures. to modify the textures in max u need to add a modifier from the list. select UVMAP and that will allow u to adjust the textures.

I think u shud rather mind ur own business than sugguesting ur ideas to me ....Thanks but no thanks buddy for ur so kind ideas ... N for ur kind info i have already done my bachelors... N usually wen people are tensed they do make mistakes .... but for that i dont think u shud criticise anyone on their writing and typing skills.. Now i can give u a wonderful idea ... i.e. This is a place where ppl like somebody's work n comment .. as well clear their doubts ... not for ur ideas

I think you should learn how to type/write and string together a basic sentence before you might consider applying to University. Might be a decent idea.

thanks for the info pal.  what do you work as and also in wat position can i apply in the companies as a junior architect ... is that fine ????? and after gaining some experience i think we can do masters. Coz i read it one article that after doin arch tech and having two years experience v can opt for masters. now i dont know how true is that ... :):) but really thanx ...

@rumpasarkar606 i used google sketchup pro, 3d max, and artlatnis. most of the great renders are in artlantis. u must make sure the exported buildings from sketchup are on the correct faces. ie. make sure the faces are not reveresed and showing in purple. then u goto max or artlantis and add textures there.
