Asian people who get eyelid surgeries only want to look like other Asian people who are born with double eyelids. It's not like all Asians have monolids.

Had anyone had Asian eyelid surgery recently? How was the recovery time? Any complications? I had my eyes done 10 days ago and my eyelashes are pointing up vertically in the air. Is this normal? Should I worried?

@auroral i agree with you it's like when black women wear weaves its allegedly because we want white womens hair when the hair we buy comes fromthe east most of the time. Not to mention it's a bit hypocritical of the media to focus on these aspects of minorites undergoing surgery to appear more caucasian, when there are alot of caucasians having lip fillers, nose and boob jobs and even butt implants aswell yet that doesnt register onto the news.

why is it controversial when an asian get eyelid surgery??? And it's ok to have boob job??? I just don't get this!! I have monolid, and wish that I have bigger, double lid eyes. It does not mean that I want to look Caucasian..
