  • what to you use for pp?

  • @jumaigac if pp = post production... i only use 1 program, adobe photoshop cs3.

  • Arthur you're my great teacher..... I've learn a lot from your VDO...Wishing one day you would come to Singapore to do the workshop......* HAPPY NEW YEAR & All the best for you* ........

  • @tuisiriporn thank you my friend. i wish you a Happy New Year as well... All the best for you as well. Wish I can visit Singapore someday.... someday...

  • He used the Canon 17-40mm f / 4 L

it's not about the lens or an expensive camera, it's about who makes the pictures

  • @IwanJasonTV thank you. yes I used the 17-40mm F/4 L... it's my favorite lens and the lens I use most often.. very light, very sharp (in fact one of the sharpest lenses I've used with the most accurate color/contrast/saturation). in most cases, the lens is more important than the camera (in my opinion).

  • The post processing irritates me a lot in these photos. I think this is a style and some people seem to like it. Bottom line is that I THINK most of them are over-processed. But, again, since this is in demand, you are doing it good. I am not against post processing by the way. Just an opinion that they are overly done.

Nice location and hard work, though. Good luck. (my fav. is 7:17)

  • my favorite video. the best.

  • I watched this video today like 4/5 times for the great music and the beautiful model ;) (also the lightning set-ups interested me)

  • what is the song used in this video?

  • great shoot and everything but i have 1 question i just saw ur assistant hand lifting ur power extention a few inches above the water , arent u concerned u & ur team + the model all getting electrocuted from the generator ?

  • Hey Mate,

What do you use for a generator and your lights?

  • @IwanJasonTV Exactly right Jason! Its all about how you use the camera, your eye, if its good people will know by your photographs!

  • hello John, big fan of all your amazing work. I was wondering if you had to recommend one or two great lenses and money was not an issue, which lenses would you recommend? Also, do you use a light meter and if so, which light meter do you use? Do you thing the L358 is a good enough light meter to accomplish the models shoots you shoot? Thanks for sharing your art with us.

  • any chance of a tut video of how you do the colours in photoshop they are amazing photos
