  • @creamsoda72 it could be the wood if the water turns like a brownish color

  • might also be worth using a gravel vac to remove the 10% of water- it means to can clean the waste out the gravel while your removing the water, hope this helps (:

  • this is completly normal in a new setup, its knwn as bacterial bloom- basically the bacterias that break dwn the waste that your fish produce are multiplying at a high rate to cope with the waste being produced The best thing to do it to jst take 10% of the water out once a week & top bck up & after a few weeks the cloudyness should go-The sand could also be causing the cloudyness-the filter may be knocking it up-NEVER remove all of the water! the bacterias are removed and your back to square 1

  • You need Bio Boost & Accu-Clear Its The Best solutions for your problems, Jacks aquarium is the best place for water and tank solution carriers. And They know their stuff! AquariumSalt is very benifical to as it provides natural substances that help your fish thrive!(But Follow Directions to the T) Good luck hope the info helps!

  • @creamsoda72 Awww :) I love rainbow sharks. I wish I could have one but I only have a 6 gallon tank, lol!

  • it was the sand...i had the same problem. It went away after about 2 to 3 days

  • Its Actually Your Gravel Get New Gravel Make Sure You Wash It Good Then Watch The Differnce

  • let it filter for about 2,3 or a week
