Earlier today thousands of Torontonians braved the cold and snow in support of two opposing rallies. I'd guess at least 2,000 made their way to Nathan Phillips Square in support of a coalition government, while about 500 rallied at Queen's Park to support the Conservatives and oppose the coalition. There was certainly a lot of strong words said on both sides, and the occasional clash as seen near the end of the video. Regardless of your political inclination, I think today's events speak volumes about how contentious an issue this is for Canadians and how passionate they've become about it.

Why are people chanting 'yes we can' at one of the rallies? Do people not realize that we don't live in America? :/

How deluded are they? They are a minority of Parliament. The majority of Canadians voted against them. Exploiting a loophole in the system does not give them the right to govern.
