Here is the latest TV ad for Change4Life, a government campaign designed to encourage people to eat healthily and exercise to prevent obesity.

This advert is being heavily promoted and features an 03 number for its main telephone line.

03 numbers cost the same to call as normal landline numbers - even from a mobile phone. This is important when you consider that 40% of all calls made in 2007 were from mobiles (Ofcom 2008) and this is rising. 03 numbers are also included in the free minutes offered by all major landline and mobile network providers.

Chane4Life is using an 0300 number - a type of 03 number that is exclusively for public bodies and charities only.

03 numbers enable the organisation to add intelligent call features to their phone lines easily (e.g caller options - 'press 1 to donate, 2 for more information etc.)
