What do engineers do?
Mechanical engineers design machines that move -- cars, airplanes, roller skates and other spacecraft like rocket ships.
Electrical engineers design things that run on electricity like television sets, digital watches, microwave ovens, I-pods, computers...
Civil engineers design solid structures like roads, bridges, tunnels, and stadiums.
Chemical engineers design processes that involve chemical reactions like making gasoline or cake mix.

  • I want to be a artist, dentist and a engineer aswell

  • Of course we can be women engineers. Thanks for opening this topic up

  • yay! it's great to see these female role models out there :D and... on another note I beleive it's "sudo make me a sandwich" :p

  • I need you to build me a dispenser here, and make me a delicious sandwich!!!

Naw i kid now! Female engineers are as equal as male engineers, just a bit more interesting and have boobs... sexism aside, I am a Mechanical Engineer, now going for Electrical, and more women need to go for engineering, its freaking sausage fest in the classrooms!

  • SHE CAN BE A WOMAN ENGINEER, SHE CAN HAVE A REALLY GREAT CAREER!

  • Can you design me a sandwich?

  • Thanks for the introduction, appreciated

  • Women engineers know how to measure a piece of paper, that´s a good one.

  • There's only one problem with all that.

Ever play bomberman? Remember Mermaid bomber? Yeah, she got into an engineering job. She's dead now >.>

  • This is a great introduction for any woman interested in engineering. I like how the categories were broken down so simply, and seemed to invite further exploration.

Feel free to check out my youtube page where I have documentaries of some of the women faculty members of Rutgers University.
