En este video podemos ver a una Jewel mas rockera.Una de mis actuciones preferidas, tanto por la version que hace de "You Were Meant For Me",como por la estetica de ella. Podemos ver a una Jewel vestida sencilla pero como siempre "divina" jajaja.
I was there as well ..notice the electric guitar sitting behind her ,,remember she said that she had just bought it in Memphis the day before and that was the first time she had ever played electric in front of people...as I recall she rocked!!!
I was there in the front row. Jewel was a cool chica as was Gwen (No doubt). Shawn Colvin had hygiene issues causing the guys to sing "where have all the razors gone." Fun, hot day.
wow...that's an...interesting version! haha I really enjoy how Jewel can take a song and perform it in a billion different styles. Most artists do their songs exactly the same every time, no matter how many times you see them in concert. Not Jewel though.
holy crap....that was the WEIRDEST version ever!! ahh!!! I much prefer the slower versions!! It's like Jewel on speed! lol. But I kinda still loved it anyway <3
Oh well is this the day Jewel lost her innocence I wonder ... It rocked strong no doubt about it .. Still in all I like the quieter slower versions better myself.. They seem to fit Jewels personality alot better than this version .. But I understand that the audience gets off on this type of sound so fair enough ..
I want to see some more videos of that concert...Rockfest 97' in Dallas..the greatest day of my adolesence. 17 years old...and 500,000 people around me..half of them hot Texas ladies!

Ah Yes, we took a short roadtrip in the summer of '97 to Rockfest from Tulsa. Great time.
