This is one of the most moving and capturing cinematic experiences I have ever fallen into. Watch the movie, if you are black, white, yellow, brown, mixed, born here, born there, born period, it has something for you, be patient throughout, take it in, you will find you are all the wiser for having seen this movie. I only ask that you begin with an open mind thank you

THIS FILM!! I was mesmerized...what an amazing movie!
I cried, I laughed, I was immersed from beginning to end...
And...most of all...I was changed..
I think this is what a good book or movie should do..rock your foundations!

This is one of my favorite movies. I just love it. Ive read the book twice, but Ive seen the movie many more times. I love how Mira Nair widened the love story of the parents. The love story of Ashoke and Ashima. Beautiful.
