A couple of people have asked me how I get the wide-angle interior car shots in some of my videos. Here's a very quickly thrown together (and admittedly very long) video that shows you really how simple it is to modify your Flip Ultra HD or Flip Mino HD with some off the shelf camcorder accessories and some super glue.

*UPDATE*
A bunch of people have asked about where to find the wide angle lens - I don't work for Best Buy but you can find it on their website here (you can also find a number of perfectly fine lenses at a number of perfectly fine retailers

Filmed on a Sony Webbie MHS-CM1

(Note: This will probably void your warranty if you do it to your camera - YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!)

Hi there - I'm not totally sure where to find these lenses anymore - Flip cameras aren't made anymore, so I'm not sure how easy they'll be to find. The lenses you can pick up most places like Best Buy or Amazon, just do a quick search for Sunpak

is the telephoto 2.0x like a fish eye? If its not then do you know if you can attach a fish eye to the step up ring?

The 2x is a zoom lens (the opposite of a fish eye), but I'm sure you could find a fish eye lens that would work!

Lenses like that weren't available when I made this video - but it is definitely a viable alternative now!

It's not always desirable, but can be a nice effect when appropriate. Just depends on the camera/lens combination.

Hey, I have a 30mm to 37mm glued to my flip ultra hd, but i have a fisheye and it almost seems too big for the camera. You can see no vignette and little effect of it. Any way you could help me?
