@Darkwiccawillow No I'm pretty sure Sherry knew. He wasn't cheating on Sherry with Lorelai; he never actually states that explicitly, but he says that they're taking a break. It's implied that they broke up and both of them knew it. And he does want a family with Lorelai and Rory, but then Sherry gets pregnant, and, well. He meant what he said when he told Lorelai he wanted to try to be with her but he couldn't exactly help it with the pregnancy. He did the right thing.

@XshamosasX Okay sorry ran out of room so part 2. Since it was never stated whether both parties knew about the brake up or not, Sherry's news would have been happy news ,since given the impression I got, she didn't know that he got back with Lorelai. Chris deciding to go back to Sherry basically then crashing their hopes with that.

@XshamosasX I personally think Chris deserved what got. people seem to forget what actually happen to get them to this point. Chris shows up in town says the relationship is over but never actually states that Sherry knows its over (if it was stated please point to the line and scene) cheats on her, then makes Lorelai and Rory believe that they will be a family, getting both of the hopes up.

Amazing scene! I adored Emily. LOVED that Rory said that Lorelai was all that she needed. And after reading some comments saying tha Rory should understand her father for not leaving Gigi because he "left her - I totally disagree. Because he is leaving and AGAIN for anoth child would make any child feel anger and jealousy. Also as he hurt her mother who seriously raised her alone- she only really sees her mother as a parent and Chris hurt her.

@XshamosasX Yeah I can see where your coming from, I like these debates because I stand up for Chris and Lor. I just didnt like Luke he just seems like Lor's best friend, idk maybe its because of their chemistry on stage.
