America's Black Shield (formally CBA) vs Diane Watson 8/13/09

On a multi "elected official" office trip, the America's Black Shield team visits Congresswoman DIANE WATSON'S office in Los Angeles to remind her IN WRITING of her obligation to her oath of office and to discuss her dereliction of duty to her Los Angeles constituents regarding the issues of illegal immigration. As this was the LAST STOP for the ABS team, why am I thinking that Congresswoman Watson was FOREWARNED of the group's impending visit? Could it be the way she rushed out and graciously greeted everyone instead of the usual cat claws flying verbally? Or was it that she came out prepared with a joking comment regarding the groups supposed alliances with "racist groups" and statements that she does not denounce any ethnic group? I have news for you, Congresswoman, we DO NOT denounce any ethnic group as well and the America's Black Shield visit did not have anything to do with you denouncing ANYONE. We're calling on you to uphold your oath of office and to listen to your constituents. So go on and enjoy your trip to the Orient. We'll be waiting for you and we'll have several pointed questions ready for you.

No, it had to do with their being "special" due to their holding of public office. Wish I could remember the whole thing, but it made big news back then. They were at some meeting about ethics and misuse of public funds and services when that statement was made.

I have been following Diane Watson for many years and i am very impressed about her record and greatly admire her in Congress. But i take my hat off to ChooseBlackAmerica for holding her accountable for her actions, when youre in public office, you have to give an account for all of your actions... So keep up the good work CBA..
