reminds me of what i'm doing on my car... it sounds a lot like yours, except i have not revved that high yet. my car is also a stock 2jzge bottom end, but i have valvetrain stuff (cams,springs,retainers). i agree, the valvetrain stuff makes the sound, well, that and i have 4" (i believe thats over 100mm in diameter). oh well, my bottom end will limit me to around 750-800whp probably.

@imfeelinghungry well this engine can rev up to 10.000RPM and is now only revved to 8.500 because the 1600ccm injectors are maxed out, and we didn't want to continus programming the engine until we upgrade the fuel system (pump and injectors). Head with factory internals are surely not capable to rev over 8.000RPM, but with BC Stage3 cams and full Ferrea Competiton plus velave train you can rev up to 10.000 :)
