  • Cool video Eric! What's the tuning of this beauty? F sharp? Or do you have a high F as the top string?

  • @irvinparcon82 it's probably just a sock or scrunchie he uses it so he doesnt accidently ring out an open note. mostly shredders use it

  • i love it. wow, that was intense! oh, can i ask you something? what is that thing on the head of the bass? the black thing.what is it for?

  • Very well thought. Wish I had the mula for such an instrument.

  • @ericclapton00028 Ever heard of a lined fretless bass?

  • this guitar got frets :-X

  • @ericczar Don't know if you agree with my theory on the D tuner, but I believe the idea was based on the C-extension for the Double Bass.

  • @LivingForBass Standard tuning is in fourths B,E,A,D,G,C,F.

  • An interesting and evocative piece Eric. Thank you !

  • @LivingForBass ...all the details of how the basses are tuned/specs ETC. can be found at "ericczar.com" on the "gear" page... but to answer your question this "bass" is tuned E ( with D tuner to low C ) A,D,G,C,F,Bb... oh, and you can tune a 7 string any way you'd like, for the record! ; )....thanks for listening!

  • @LivingForBass Im going to prsume its a regular 7 string set up F# B E A D G C

  • @tcmr It is a gate with just standard delay in time with the gate.

  • By 1:17, I was in such a happy place. :) thank you so much for this. SUBSCRIBED! :D

  • This is my favorite one of yours, Eric.

    Mind sharing the delay settings?

  • He's like making love to the bass!!!!!!!
