Handmade Headbands and Hair Clips Butterflies Hearts Flowers

My name is Faby and I am a work at home mom of three wonderful children. My daughter Abby was my inspiration for creating these beautiful and stylish clips.

As a little girl, I always enjoyed dressing up my dolls. As a mom, I naturally took pleasure in making sure my daughter Abby had a hair accessory for every outfit.

Since I have always been creative and crafty, I started making my own hair accessories. I started out with bows. Soon I got bored with bows, and as Abby grew she also got tired of wearing bows, so I started looking around for other options. I searched high and low and only found few choices. So I decided to create my own designs. Soon Abby was wearing all kinds of different clips: flower clips, heart clips, and her favorite- butterfly clips. It is great to be able to make them with different colors, fabrics, patterns, appliqués, etc. and in different sizes for all her hairstyles!

Well, all of Abbys friends moms started asking me where I would find all these different beautiful clips. They were impressed to hear that I made them. Moms began to ask me to make some for them, and they really began to sell! It was a great little hobby. My husband and I own a business, and I usually handle all of the bookkeeping, so this creative outlet was the perfect escape! I spend hours each night carefully and lovingly putting my clips together. I love coming up with new ideas. Local school bazaars started offering me the chance to have a booth at the events, and thats when I formed Hip-Clips!

I have had such a great response from my customers. They love the variety available. I have decided to start this website to offer my products nationwide. I feel very fortunate to have the opportunity to create a business from a hobby that I enjoy. I really love and believe in my products. I know that you and your daughter(s) will love them too!
