To have a leader of this country who so blatently does not respect or observe American ideals of patriotism would be a major step downward for this country!! We have enough politicians who are crooked we don't need one in office like Mr. Obama. It is Mr. Obama's right not to salute the flag, or say the pledge of alliegence but to expect to become our president when he so obviously does not respect the flag is the height of stupidity.

In the speech, Senator Obama repeatedly distanced himself from Rev. Wright's divisive ideas, ideas which were at odds with the same Christian ideas which he had learned from the Reverend's other sermons.
