  • Hi nice scooter. I am going to buy a typhoon. I heard they are very reliable. I think i could put a performance exhaust and malossi multivariator. You know how fast it will go whit these?? No need for bigger carb cause these got 17.5. Am i right?

  • There is a brass ristrictor on the intake of your carb after you take your air filter box off you can see it has about 5 holes or so in it pull it out with your finger nails, it helps it run better. 17.5 is fine without a cylinder upgrade, but you do need to upjet to a 62 main jet I think. You will get about 10mph more after the pipe change the variator isn't worth the investment really, mine ran as good with the stock variator maybe changeing the roller weights a little.

  • are you looking to sell it

  • No not at this time , but thanks for asking. I have done alot more improvments since I made this video, I am currently in the middle of dialing in a 19mm carb I installed , but waiting on a open air filter I ordered as well as some bigger main jet's. Before this change I was running 55MPH on the flat, I am hopeing to improve on that just a tad, even more power would be real cool. It's a 70cc Malossi now plus alot more installed.

  • Since this video I did add a bore kit, runs great with my big self on it tops out at 55MPH now, I have other videos as well showing a 55mph run, take in mind I weigh a good 260 pounds.

  • 2 stroke, bad for environment but great for rider... I just bougt TWO of these beauties. I accidentally, I swear, got on the highway by accident. This scooter is fast and reliable! Just going to take out the restrictor and keep it all stock... I looked and looked for almost 6, 7 months at ALL types of scooters and this was THE ONE! Lil' tweaking and can do 55 no prob. Plus the brakes are solid as brakes are so easily dismissed with scooters, you can't stop with fn drums!

  • 55 mph on 70cc big bore kit ??
