Thank you so much to all my 1,000+ subscribers! :) To celebrate this milestone, let's play a Sierra adventure!

Conquests of the Longbow is not one of Sierra's better-known adventures, but it's pretty good; it has beautiful graphics and sound. I know I said I didn't want to play another 256-color game, but this one was too good to resist.

  • OMG!!!! I played this game all the time when I was young. It loved it!!!! This game got me interested in the legend of Robin Hood which I still love to this day. Thank you so much for posting it and bringing back great memories!!!! Is there a way I can stil get it?

  • @EmeraldJEM710 The usual sources, like your friendly neighborhood abandonware source. =)

  • Are you playing the DOS or Amiga version??

  • DOS.

  • Are you a tenor?

You have an awesome voice >.>

  • Thanks! I've actually been variously told that I'm an alto or a bass. But I suspect I'm just a plain old baritone, like most guys.

  • If you lay a hundred thousand gold marks on someone's head, wont the head get squashed ?

  • The writer of the game, Christy Marx, has the game available for free on her website. You will need to get the manual elsewhere though, needed for some of the puzzles.

  • I brought these videos with me on a business trip and watched them each night before bed and on the plane. Very good-natured and fun series of videos. I'm having a blast watching them all.

  • I'm surprised it didn't install to C:\Sierra\COTL.

Many of these characters are quite different than the usual depictions, especially with all the extra facial hair.

I like the Sierra in-jokes in the menu credits button.

  • Robin of Locksley (noble), and that's from Ivanhoe not the Costner flick lol

People often think William Wallace was a commoner here in Edinburgh due to Braveheart when he was actually born into knighthood. It's funny how the media downplays aristocratic heritage in some figures, both fictional and historical alike.

  • is there a way to play this on pc

  • Actually, Robin Hood WAS a noble, look it up.

  • I've been stuck on this game for 14 years and now I finally get an LP, I LOVE YOU!!!

  • This and your commentary on Crowley9's Neuromancer LP have now officially turned me into a subscriber. Good stuff, can't wait to check out all your videos!

  • LOVE your LP's. Especially COTL, even though you're still playing, it's funny as all hell throughout the entire thing.

"In the gracious message window that dissapears too quickly"

O-M-G. Sooo funny, it had me on the floor!
