The feeling that one feels upon the Shahadat of Imam Hussain, as expressed by the poets and the lamenters, is not haram. To lament, for Sunnis, yes, it is haram. They do not understand why Allah asks in the Qur'an 'Do you laugh more, and weep less'? Yazid, the son of Mu'awiah celebrated the anniversary of Imam Hussain's killing. Our tears, are there to counter his joy. They beat the drum. We beat our chest.

The rough translation of what they're saying in this video is they are crazy for the love of Imam Hussain (a.s) because of his sacrifice. I agree that they might be taking it a bit too far but that's not for you and I to decide.

Iran will always support the people of Palestine and anyone else who is suffering!! They don't like to announce it much but Iran also sent a lot of aid to Pakistan to help the Sunni victims of the floods. Peace.

@MehrabS All i did was ask if this really was islam, maybe they could be christians or jews i dont know, thats why i asked, i saw some comments saing about husseins death etc, so i thought they must be muslims but i wasnt sure because i have never seen anything like this before.

By the way, i know iran has been good to us and i hope they will continue, ahmedinjad is a good president.

The problem with arabs today, is they are corrupt, they do anything for israel and usa, and this is sad.
