Nice interview!! Tomita is modest person.
I respect him.

Everyone makes such a big deal out of his fall on the rings. I know he usually wouldn't have done something like that, but they're practically shoving the fact in the face. That's my opinion, at least.
Maybe I'm exaggerating..but Tomita's just so wonderful. =)

p.s.
Some of the apostrophes are missing. I don't know why. Sorry.

Let me give it a try. But you must know that my English translation is far from perfect.
Part 1
Interviewer : Great performances for the latter half of the game. What do you think?
Tomita: Well yes. (Except) only rings.
I: I believe I've never seen you (fall) like that. What happened?
T: It was the first time for me to (fall at rings*). (*I dont feel confident about this part. He speaks in a mumble as always.) It was a kind of accident. There was nothing I could do about it.

Can somebody please translate it? please....we'll appreciate that.

Oh,it pains me to watch this.
Maybe I shouldn't watch.
Anyway, thank you for sharing.
Tomita is surprisingly calm, though I see a little bit of disappointment in his face.
Obviously he's a type of person who can see themselves very objectively.
You're my hero, Tomita!
Part 3
I: You still have other events. Hows your shoulder?
T: I cant tell until tomorrow. I will try to get rid of the pain by then.
I: Thank you.
T: Thank you.

Part 2
I: But you showed great resilience for the rest of the game, didnt you?
T: Well, yes. If I had something to be satisfied with today, that was it. I've learned some patience through this sport, I suppose.
I: Uchimura got the silver medal. What do you think about it?
T: Great. He showed wonderful performances after he had a trouble at the pommel horse. Im glad for him.
