  • I live about 40 minutes from Tuscola

  • I am a railfan, interpreted as "train photogrpaher" so all my life people have looked at me weird for filming trains, but this my friend is taking it to the next level. Elevator-fanning? Right on man!

  • My family used to own the City Plaza (ex-Executive Plaza) building in downtown Rockford. It is now owned by an investor group (maybe soon to be the county health dept.) Anyways, it is a 1991 Dover hydrolic, 4 story elevator w/ fire service, etc. A neat elevator with lots of space. I got to watch it get installed as a building ADA/convenience upgrade (Building built in 1974). It is amazing to watch a big, tall elevator get built from scratch. It is at 555. N. Court. St., Rockford, IL 61103.

  • Elevator addict huh. lol

  • calm dover buzz ... nice

  • Is Dover a good company? I would say NO!!!!! One time when I was at this really old school (90+ years old) the place where the fixtures and the floor indicator is, the door that has all that on it, was unlocked. So you could break it, and move all those wires around. Oh and get this. The 1st floor button was unlocked, and the basement, 2nd and 3rd floors were locked to enter the elevator. What a piece of junk!!! :(

  • How long have you been filming elevators? BTW: Whats your favorite elevator of all time??????? :)
