I have been commuting by bicycle now for 4.5 years. I have commuted 14,000 miles. I would say I am experienced but not an expert. From experience I know that Friday's are always crazy. Motorist are in a hurry, talking on their cell phones, and not paying attention. This video show my experiences from just one Friday. Most of these incidents happen within two miles of each other. In the past month two bicyclist have been killed in collisions with motor vehicles.
Sorry roads are for cars. And once again if you are gonna ride a bike out there, you better be careful

I have lost count of how many times I've been cut off and right hooked. I have taken to the practice of assuming that either I am invisible when I am on my bike, rather than taken the decidedly cynical point of view that all motorists despise bicyclists.
Less stressful though both assumptions make for safer riding!
Take care out there.

What I saw was unacceptable driving behaviour. These motorists need to be booked!

LOL. I find that people are crazy on Friday as well. Monday, And Friday. Oh. Did I mention Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday & Sunday as well ?
Statistically it seems the most likely time to have a traffic accident in a car at least is on a Friday afternoon. I think this is because it's the end of the week, people are angry, keen to get home, in a rush, and talking on their cell phone organizing the weekend.
