You can hear some people laughing at different parts when he starts doing his signature dance...if only they knew he transcended societal norms and was about to revolutionize the world of music and celebrity forever.

Elvis blew right past me in all the musicians of the 60's, but when I saw him two months ago on a video I turned into an Elvis addict. I love these comments I read that I can tell come from people of my generation. I remember him being inducted into the army and out, major media events, but those movies really left him playing catch up. He was an original and so hot. Everyone I know is sick of hearing about Elvis from me, but I can't get enough of him. Rock and roll personified.

My family was watching that night. My step-dad made the comment, "What in the H*** was that!?" I was only 13 at the time, but I knew I had just seen someone special on t.v. I've been a fan of his ever since that night.
