Indie Games You Might Have Missed Part 21: Bite the Bullet [9_6]

Looking like something from the Gameboy era, Bite the Bullet is a boss fight shmup. You get a short amount of time to kill each boss (otherwise they disappear off the bottom of the screen). You have the ability to slow down time on a limited basis, which will help you kill some of the bosses. For each boss that you successfully kill, you get the chance to collect an extra life (via a floating heart). It's all about learning patterns.

This is not a boss fight shmup, it's a survival game and you don't need to shoot anything to survive.

Your shot even charges up and you get more score if you don't shoot.

Time manipulation is becoming a bit overdone but I like the effects on this one when compared to the Gameboy-like look.
