2. JPower F16 Edf Mini JET. Converted to 55mm fan - 4s lipo - CRAZY THRUST!!!

F16 by JPower for 50mm fan. I modded it to fit a 55mm EDF fan -- 6 blade unit. 28mm outrunner motor --- 535watts, 34.5amps. Unlimted vertical performance on this jet. Fast too. Sorry for the crappy vids, but you get the idea. Using 4s 1600mah 30C and 4s 1300mah 30C lipos, 40 Turnigy Sentry ESC, 5.4g Assan 2.4ghx Rx 6ch. Carbon Fiber spars in main wings and tail wings.

This is my second JPower F16 -- first one i have was with a WemoTech 50mm Micro Fan -- 475watts -- was fast too -- but did not have the THRUST this thing does.

I have not shrank the exhaust on this yet from stock. Once i shring it about 5mm I'm going to pickup about 10-15mph on topspeed.

This jet is 10 TIMES FUNNER now on the larger 55mm fan and beefier motor. Vertical is unlimited - way over 1:1 thrust.

@masonkim7 - Yeah i hear ya about the throw... but this is old video -- its long since convertd to a pusher-prop and darn thing so good it will just about fly out your hand. I have vids on here somewhere of it with the pusher.

This one probably best showcases the speed bursts -- these were maiden flights so I went fairly easy on 'er to break in. Lipos 15.35 - 15.45v resting when done. Not bad and could have flown bit longer - this will prolong life of lipo though. ;)

@elbowgreasey yes sir. it did indeed. but higher percentage of the plane crashing before take off. don't want to be a hater, appreciate the vid and good to see someone pushing this plane near to the max, but seriously work on your throw form for the sake of the plane.

very cool mod... but wow your throw is TERRIBLE man!

1. you cock your plane back too much.

2. angle too high up in the air. decrease the release angle by like 20 degrees

3. and you JUMP in the air while you throw it... = no wonder the jet dips in the air like that.

you should just throw the jet, let it glide a bit, AND THEN increase the throttle.
