it's sad we can't hear the car itself, it looks great. sorry, but driving a car like this in such traffic conditions is stupid, no matter how big the breaks are.

I pulled off the old giant molding, filled in the holes with bondo, painted it, then went to an auto parts store and bought some thin molding with 3M auto tape attached that fit exactly in the indention but stuck out enough to work.
Just measure the space in the indentation gap (I think 3/16"), go to the parts store and you will find the molding. It's been a few years so I don't have the specifics.
I paid about $14.95 each for two packages and had enough to do both sides.
