In less than a minute, the west grandstand at Texas Christian University's football stadium came down Sunday morning. It's part of a $105 million dollar renovation that is scheduled to be completed by May 2012. (Dec. 5)

  • A UT friend just emailed me talking trash that TCU should rebuild stadium to get better home games, but doesn have money to do it. To his surprise, I just replied with link to this video.

    Another well-informed UT homer

  • @MrBUSH916

    21-19 .....lol

  • Im going to miss that old stadium....... :(

  • @AlexanderPimm It did need it, and it was all privately funded.

  • @AbeGroter Explain Bldg. #7 if you can .. Go in peace >>>>>

  • @Josephdaz1 I don't have any hearing problems. You're just completely nuts. I work in Demolition, this is our job (Literally) We detonated at 08:00 on Sunday. 911 was not a timed, interior demolition. You are in fact, just another childishly passionate, over zealous conspiracy nut.

  • @AbeGroter Watch the 9/11 videos .. this time please turn up your hearing aid :)

  • @Baxteronsteroids I don't know about how "nice" that it was but I'll tell you what, it took a 8k ball on a 30 yard swing a long, long time to get that concrete broke up on the south east side. We ended up using a pulverizer on the ramps at the back but it took some major doing to get it. That whole stadium was tough... The elevator shaft even fought back. It fell the wrong way and ended up in the lower parking lot. We've got to have 1/2 of the stadium hauled out by the 22nd man, it's nuts.
