WONG:
Palestinian terrorist groups are stepping up rocket attacks on Israeli civilians after a six-month cease fire between the two sides ended on Friday. Here's an update on how Israelis are coping with the attacks.
STORY
[Shai Hermesh, Israeli MP, Lives Near Gaza]:
"It has become a daily event, every day, every night by the terrorists who are outside the border and it is time for the government of Israel to take the right step in order to blockade sooner and sooner, otherwise it will cause more and more blood.
Amidst escalating violence, Israeli Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni says Israel will work to end Hamas' rule in Gaza.
[Tzipi Livni, Israeli Foreign Minister]:
The state of Israel and the government under my authority will make it a strategic objective to topple the Hamas regime in Gaza."
But Israeli Opposition Leader Benjamin Netanyahu says Livni, and Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert, are partly to blame for the situation by being too passive for a long time. He also blames Iran for supporting the militants.
[Benjamin Netanyahu, Israel's Opposition Leader]:
"In the long run we won't be able to tolerate an Iranian Hamas base touching our cities, ultimately threatening Beersheba and Ashdod and perhaps beyond that."
Meanwhile, Hamas leaders are blaming Israel for the crisis.
[Ismail Haniyeh, Hamas Leader in Gaza]:
Nothing could finish off our people, our people are not escalating. The Israeli occupation was supposed to abide by the obligations of the ceasefire."
[Nafez Azzam, Islamic Jihad Leader in Gaza]:
"The world should know that Israel ended the cease fire."
The rockets don't distinguish between the nations...recently a rocket had injured Palestinian children in Gaza after missing their targets in Israel. And while this resident of Sderot city talks to reporter, Palestinian attacks continue.
The anxiety level of Sderot residents these days is very high and many need psychological aid, but this man is relatively optimistic.
[Shimon Maman, Sderot Resident]:
"Of course we are worried, but there is nothing we can do. Life must go on."
NTD News, Sderot, Israel.
WONG:
A meeting between Israel's foreign minister, and Egypt's president, Husni Mubarak, is set to be held in Cairo this Thursday.
Content: Even during the ceasefire, rockets and mortar bombs continued to fall mainly in the Israeli cities of Sderot and Ashqelon, and surrounding areas. But now the attacks are even more massive.
This is bullshit they victimize israelis. What about palestinians? the only palestinians you here about dying on the news is hamas you never hear about civilians being kidnapped and killed by israeli military forces!

In the first two minutes of Israel's last attack on Gaza, there were nearly 300 people killed, men women and children, than in the last ten years of rocket attacks.
