Kind of a funny city. Part of it looks very modern, the police is driving around with electric vehicles which look like golf buggies and there are skyscrapers everywhere. But I didn't practically see any tourists anywhere so people are prone to stare if you're outside of Asia.

it should be hot. we were there in Jan during a cold spell. Nanning is not a place a lot of tourists go. Are you going on a tour?
