Installed Shift Boot on my Automatic V6 Accord.

To dress up my interior some and make give it a sportier look; I have a shift boot installed over my gear-select box.

No it's not why would be shifting on an automatic that's just stupid your hurting your engine....and might as well get a stick shift its cheaper and it has the shift boot...

@pedonda92 As long as you don't abuse it, self-shifting an auto will only cut down on fuel economy. You watch the tach and shift before the revs get too high, this is no different than what the "S" setting on a non-DSG Audi sport-automatic does. FYI, the auto tranny in the 7th gen Accord is the same one used in the Acura TL with the sport-shift auto,,,,,so I'm not really doing anything the tranny can't handle.

where'd you get the OEM shift boot? From another car or did you purchase it online?
