Met gb on 1st day of photography school back in Oct 91. One of the absolute best El Nino years for surf I can remember. He had just moved from college in Colorado and had no surf equipment so I loaned him all of mine. We became fast friends and he became a part of my family. We always seemed to have good luck with surf. He joined my family when we visited my sister Alish while she was studyng in Andalucia spent Christmas and new years over there. Scored Spain and Portugal winter 97-98 on yet another series of whopping lows in the Atlantic hooked up with my expat friends Henry Hunte and James Orwig. Best of times indeed.
