Testing Baking Powder for Freshness
1 tsp Baking Powder
1 TBs. Hot water
1. Combine those 2 inqredients and they should immediately bubble up.
2. That means the Baking Powder is active and usable.

  • I really enjoy seeing those kinds of things.

    Soon we are going to be making bread and watching the yeast grow. That is a lot of fun. I drive my video guy crazy because when I add the yeast to the water to dissolve we have to wait and wait and then all of a sudden it rises to the top of the liquid and bubbles and he always misses it.
